“ Great dinner - the steak pie was wonderful (and a lovely breakfast!). A great atmosphere - lots of friendly people, friendly staff. Comfortable room, plenty of bathrooms/showers - never felt like we had to wait to use one even though they are shared. No connected shop but it’s easy to walk a few minutes to the nearby campsite and buy necessities if needed. Would stay here again! ”
“ I found myself at The Drovers Inn completely by chance after getting a flat tire. What should have been a short stop turned into a very long wait for roadside assistance. Fortunately, I could not have been in a better place. The atmosphere in this old pub is simply magical, with a cozy and historic charm. However, the real highlight was the incredible hospitality. The bartender, whose kindness was unforgettable, went above and beyond to help us. He not only kept us company but also made several calls on our behalf to roadside assistance, trying to speed up the process. His genuine concern and helpfulness made a stressful situation so much more bearable. The pub itself is fantastic. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the view of the surrounding greenery is incredibly peaceful. It's a truly pleasant place to spend time. I was so impressed that I will be adding The Drovers Inn to the tour plans for my job as a tour operator. It's a perfect stop, especially since the Citylink bus to Fort William stops right outside, making it a convenient and charming destination. While I hope to never have another flat tire, I will definitely be back to this wonderful pub. It's a gem with great food, a lovely atmosphere, and an outstanding team. ”
“ We only stopped for a tea but it is such a charming place and I wish we could have stayed longer. The interior is so cozy, makes you feel like time has stopped - in the best way possible. Also big thank you to the two ladies we spoke to - we crossed the marshes and made it to Dalmally! :) ”
“ Stayed here during my west highland way hike. Service was great, food was great and rooms were good. Overall vibes where great. I know some people complain that its too touristy, and maybe thats true, but I was a tourist and I loved it. My only problem was music that played in the bar. We stayed on a Friday night and they had what I assume was live music in the bar. Our room was on the third floor and it was still so loud. It was borderline shaking our room sometimes. My stay at drovers was at the end of an incredibly long and strenuous hiking day. I was asleep by 8. Lame. I know. But the music woke me up several times. I was so exhausted that I slept through it better than I normally would have, but it was still an annoyance. It went on until midnight. For someone who is a light sleeper this would have been a total deal breaker. Overall I would still stay there again as the overall vibes where great, but I would probably just bring some ear plugs. ”
